Read the terms that apply to the use of LexiCo services.
General terms
These terms govern the relationship between you as a user and LexiCo AS (org. no. 937 155 344), hereinafter referred to as "LexiCo", when using services delivered through lexico.no and associated platforms.
By creating an account or using our services, you accept these terms in their entirety.

Service description
LexiCo offers the following services:
Account and API usage
3. User Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. All activity through your account is your responsibility.
You must provide accurate information during registration and keep your account information up to date.
LexiCo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. API Usage and Restrictions
API keys are personal and must not be shared with third parties
Abuse, overloading or attempts to circumvent security systems is prohibited
LexiCo may set usage limits (rate limiting) to ensure service quality
Content sent through the API proxy is not stored by LexiCo unless necessary for troubleshooting
Pricing and payment
Current prices are displayed in your dashboard and on our websites. All prices are listed excluding VAT unless otherwise specified.
Billing occurs monthly based on actual usage. Payment is due 14 days after the invoice date.
In case of late payment, LexiCo may suspend access to the services until outstanding amounts are paid.
Rights and liability
Termination, changes and governing law
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Any outstanding amounts are due upon termination.
LexiCo may terminate the agreement with 30 days' notice. In case of material breach, access may be revoked immediately.
11. Changes to the Terms
LexiCo may update these terms. For significant changes, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall first be attempted resolved amicably.
If the dispute is not resolved, it shall be settled by Oslo District Court as the legal venue.
Service Level (SLA)
For paying customers of LexiSaaS and related services
99.5% uptime
Measured per month for LexiSaaS production endpoints. Planned maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance and does not count against the SLA.
Response times
Critical: 4 hours. Major: 8 hours. Normal: 1 business day. Low: 3 business days. Measured from acknowledged request via post@lexico.no.
Data breach notification
In case of security incidents affecting customer data, the customer is notified within 72 hours per GDPR Article 33.
Support
Email support included in all paid plans. Phone support on business days 08:00–16:00 (Norwegian time) for enterprise plans.
Liability limit
Total liability is limited to the actual fees paid by the customer during the last 12 months. Indirect damages are not covered.
IP rights
LexiCo beholder alle rettigheter til kjerneteknologien (O(1) Proxy og STONE-kompresjonsmotor). Kunde beholder sine egne data og innhold i sin helhet.
